A  total foodie and lover of good food. Fine dining as a hobby, home cooking as a passion.

I’m originally from Finland, but have been living in London since 2001. Mixing my background and the multicultural influences of my adopted home town have resulted in interesting and eclectic cooking styles, always ready to experiment with new foods and ingredients I’ve not used before.

I’m all about cooking things from scratch, including sauces, curry pastes, bread, pasta etc – I don’t like buying ready made shortcuts.

I’m as comfortable cooking a rustic Nordic dish as I am with an Indian curry feast, comforting British roast, fancy French creations and iconic Italian food.

Some of the recipes may not originally be my own creations, but as there are no rules in cooking I’ve perfected and tweaked them over the years to suit me.
